Inspiration The myth of Pegasus has been created by the Greeks. Winged horse born from the blood of Medusa killed by Perseus who used it as a horse, it has been captured by Bellerophon who, owing to it, defeated the Chimera, Amazones and Solymes. With a hoof’s kick on the Helicon, home of Muses, Pegase did shoot out the Hippocrene spring where the poets drink. He became the symbol of poetic inspiration and creative imagination.
